Esri Summer Camp 2011 successfully completed

The 4^th Esri Summer Camp was conducted in 2011 in collaboration with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB Tourism) and CGIS-NUR under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education. The main goal for twenty Rwandan secondary school students was to collect information about important touristic facilities with GPS devices in the City of Kigali. Within the project week captured locations were enriched with attributes, analysed and prepared for an online Tourist Map of Kigali using GIS (Geographic Information Systems). During the Closing Ceremony on Dec 9^th 2011, the Head of Tourism and Conservation Ms Rica Rwigamba published the Tourist Map of Kigali City on ArcGIS Online.
